Low-Sugar Baking Tip

When you are baking your favorite recipe for muffins, cookies or cakes, cut the sugar in half.



This reduced amount of sugar will still be enough for them to rise nicely.

If you feel that your recipe is not sweet enough, you can add some low-calorie sweetener, such as Splenda or Sugar Twin.

Sweeteners that have Nutrasweet, such as Equal, shouldn't be used for baking; they lose their sweetness when cooked.
